Track Name: Fix My Bones
The sun, dripping heat on my skin, look at this mess I’m in. I lay here on my own, the sun won’t fix my bones. So I splash cold water on my face, it’s time to leave this place, a place that I called my home. Water won’t fix my bones. And the dust rises so I can’t see and the rush - it captures me, a hot air that keeps me so low (solo). The wind won’t fix my bones. Underneath the water, wind, and sun, am I the only one amidst all the dirt and stone? The earth won’t fix my bones. And this is where, where I fail like a hammer bending nails.
Track Name: Cattle On A Thousand Hills
I can rarely feel or picture any of my hopes and fears cause one after another they cancel out each other. More of them just settle fast, I'm waking up but as I last my future keeps on darting, when will it be starting? I could take a dose and fly away to Nova Scotia before I notice I'm a portrait of what I thought would be a trek. I could tell a story without any real meaning, it's something that I've always done. Sing a song sweet melody. A child on his Father's knee. Looking back he sings to me. Lalala lalala lalala lalalalala. Oh how the years go by, I lie awake here until I die. Gazing out my window sill I see cattle on a thousand hills. My brothers, and sister, and father, my mother. My best friends, strangers, and enemies my heart will never last. Oh how the years go by, I lie awake here until I die. Gazing out my window sill I see cattle on a thousand hills.
Track Name: Splitting Atoms
All of the people are falling, it's hard to believe in a freedom that comes from a nation to beat out the treason I've nursed since my weaning. And all I've found since is: I can't keep up with the times, messing up love with my crimes. Bombs aren't the only distraction. Stand back and see my reaction. I see them fall from the sky every time I spit a lie. Tell me a way to combat them, tell me it's not with compassion. I don't fear war cause I know my knees are failing. I can't reason why I fight to keep from kneeling. Sometimes a battle with shackles is supernatural, when I can't feel them. I can't keep up with the times, messing up love with my crimes. Bombs aren't the only distraction. Stand back and see my reaction. I see them fall from the sky every time I spit a lie. Tell me a way to combat them, tell me it's not with compassion. I'm not the only one makin’ babies just to watch them crawl. I'm not the only one standing scorned by the weight of the fall. I’m not the only one splitting atoms for my own excuse. I’m not the only one makin’ trouble the way that I do. (Um freedom, um reason, dumb freedom, dumb reason...)
Track Name: Open Your Eyes
Open your eyes, open your eyes and see a shooting star carving up the sky. Open your eyes open your eyes and watch a satellite, blinking as it flies by. Open your heart, open your heart to see a little child fumbling without a hope. Open your heart, open your heart and recognize your show can't entertain your soul. You weigh me down. I'm afraid we don't know how to love as we should on our own. Open your mind, open your mind and wake a sleeping whale ready to spit you out. Open your mind, open your mind a shake a stale worldview to see how much you weigh, you weigh. You weigh me down, I'm afraid we don't know how to love as we should on our own. I will open up, I will open up, I will open up my eyes.
Track Name: Riptide
As your face fades in the distance, a result of naive resistance, on purpose children get lost in existence, I can hardly believe your persistence. And I stop to watch the commotion, each drowning a drop in the ocean, who taught us to trust our emotions? They've got the best of me. But I swim in this riptide, to give in I would join the fool, without you it won't be fine, I'm drifting where the currents please. As I fight to keep from retreating, my voice is slowly depleting, heroes are singing like nobody's leaving, their faces are oh so misleading. And I run to stop the commotion, one final attempt at devotion, who taught us to live without motion? That's not who I wanna be. So I swim in this riptide, not giving in to what the fool would do, wherever you go, it'll be fine. Without you, oh without you I don't know my right hand from my left hand's shadow, time won't heal all wounds here if we drown ourselves

Track Name: The Human Contradiction
I have no time to just pretend that I'm justified to take revenge, when I know what I've done to you - yet I know not what I do.
Track Name: I Know You Know
I saw death in a brown paper bag. Stop, drop, burn things will never be the same. Poor excuse for a man, pour on the shame. I saw death in a way I can't explain. Oh to see what those stately eyes have seen. A glimpse into a vivid memory. Firm escape from this evil circuitry. Still, oh still it's a mystery to me. Brother, I know you know. I know you know. Understood you've got such big shoes to fill so you kick yourself for a lack of iron will. Try again but you just don't have the skill. Stop your suicide, take my soul for the kill. The gods of the confused are siding up with you, pressure point and down you go. Lost and misplaced, your favourite mistake. Took on the chin but before you begin all is forgiven, all is forgiven! I know you know.
Track Name: Corrosion
I found a name, scratched gold on a chain and all that remained, I should have known - I should have known. A long winding fuse, let's me peruse the scrapes and the bruises that tear the world apart. Hold me to the ground, my ground, my stable ground. Where I can't feel the pound, the sound of what's become my heart. My goodness gracious I apologize - my greatest troubles are controlling the fires I've built, with fuel and sins that aren't so pretty. Give me a new name now. The promises that I have given don't mean a thing when all I've seen is a view not past my nose. Wooaoh I've noticed it's all away from you. Pull me from the ground, my ground, my fatal ground. So I can hear the pound, the sound, of what's inside your heart.
Track Name: Asian Animation
Older, none the wiser, I'll disguise her in shrouds of secrecy. Shaping, my creation, calculation of how it profits me. Now the stone wall I built is crumbling. Dreaming is never what it seems. Trained us how to say that, I've torn pages and thrown them all away. But Asian animation tells the story of how we've gone astray. And I don't want to stand here anymore. And I don't want to fight it anymore. Caught you alone in your hiding place, I endeavoured to leave but you begged me to stay. 'Said this was where you came to dream and when you leave the dreams fade away. The stones walls you built are crumbling. Dreaming is never what it seems. And I don't want to stand here anymore. And I don't want to fight it anymore. Kick me back to when I was young, information at a minimum. And explain to me how you can tell the difference between earth and hell. The stone walls tell us where we are today. The stone walls tell us how we went astray.
Track Name: Master Plan
Deep in the soul there's a hole and I can't just tape it closed cause then I'll never know - where all along as I've longed the story goes untold. Watches counting all the ways we're killing the time, spending it in days chastising our minds. Mine's running like a freight train engine on fire, gauge my desire. I know I'm foolish, I know I'm poor, I know I do this but who knows why, why? Watch us counting all the ways we're killing the time, spending it in ages building our kind - man tickin' like a time bomb tell me I'm lying, help me I'm trying. I know I'm foolish, I know I'm poor, I know I do this but who for, who for? Marching out into the street I saw an eagle wink at me while waking goats and sleeping sheep to witness blind men finding keys. We don't know what we're looking for but if we long we'll find the door, the flying school that we've ignored will train the poor with perfect form. You give us kids, you give us kids broken hearts, a broken heart to show us our place, tape us with grace. We hope in what we cannot see we witness what the blind can see.
